Walker-Lowe Home, McClung Avenue
This Greek Revival mansion, ca. 1834, is one of Huntsville's most historic homes. Built by General Leroy Pope Walker, the Confederacy's first secretary of war. The owners now are Mr. and Mrs. Peter L. Lowe who purchased the house in 1987. Drawing is by Harvie P. Jones, 1987.
